| Abstract: | Mr. Chairman, Honourable Ministers, Mr. President and Members of the Executive of the Labour Congress, Ladies and Gentlemen: I am very happy to be here today to participate with you in formally opening the Workers’ Bank of Trinidad and Tobago. A few weeks ago, Parliament approved a Bill to incorporate this Bank, and by this act, Parliament gave its approval and endorsement to the purposes and objectives of the Bank. No institution can hope for better sponsorship. |
