People’s National Movement 15th Annual Convention Address By The Political Leader Dr. Eric Williams – 1973

Title: People’s National Movement 15th Annual Convention Address By The Political Leader Dr. Eric Williams – 1973
Author Williams, Eric Eustace,
Abstract: AS THE MEMBERS of the party are aware, my term of office as Political Leader comes to an end with this Annual Convention, and I have taken no steps to seek re-election. I owe it, therefore, to this Convention and to the patty as a whole, to indicate at least some of the factors which I have taken into account in reaching my decision. I turn first to the question of Caribbean Integration. The People’s National Movement came into existence with a pledge that we would work for an independent West Indian Federation.
