Title: Graduation Address By The Prime Minister At Holy Faith Convent, July 5, 1968
Author Williams, Eric Eustace,
Abstract: Sometime ago I had promised to pay an official visit to t his school, and so it was with great pleasure that I accepted the kind invitation of the Principal to attend this Graduation Ceremony and to address the gathering. My remarks will be directed principally to those girls who have recently left or are about to leave school and enter the adult world, though I hope that what I say will be of interest to all students and their parents. I propose to confine myself to four areas which have been gone over countless times I know, but which are so important and so basic to the health of our society that I believe they need going over again and again. Moreover, many people are in the habit of using the words without really grappling with their full significance and the implications they carry with them. These four areas are: the role of youth,
especially our young women; Discipline; Production; and Tolerance.
