Author Williams, Eric Eustace,
Abstract: There are a number of matters that have been before the Cabinet of the country and under consideration for some time some of my Cabinet colleagues are here today-and I wish to say a few brief words to you and through you to the Nation of some of these issues.
The first point is that I have given instructions for a special meeting of Cabinet to be called on Monday at 10.30 a.m. in order to take steps to deal with some of these issues. The first issue the Government to take over all Texaco gas stations with N.P. as the sole marketing company in the country dealing also with aviation and bunker fuel. Second, the Government to take over all supplies of domestic gas with N.P. as
the sole marketing company in the country. And thirdly, to take forward steps initiating positive discussions dealing with the new relations between the government and Texaco. I wish to say a few words on that particularly.
