| Abstract: | It would appear that the situation will get worse instead of better by the end of this decade. Export prices of food this year were three times as high and agricultural raw materials twice as high as the average prices for the years 1967 to 1969; in respect of petroleum they were nearly seven times as high. By 1980 it is estimated that the export price of food will be 2 1/2 times the average for the years 1967 to 1969 and for agricultural raw materials 2 1/2 times as high, whilst for petroleum it will be 9 ¾- times as high. |
