| Abstract: | The Prime Minister, Dr. Eric Williams, announced today that the Government of Trinidad and Tobago will purchase the Shell holdings in this territory at a cost of $93,600,000. Dr. Williams made the announcement at the end of this morning’s regular meeting of Cabinet. He spoke also of the Government’s plans to assist victims of the storm, Alma which swept over Trinidad last week and the heavy rains later which caused extensive flood damage in various parts of Trinidad.
