| Abstract: | Agriculture is the single largest industry in the world, yet less than 50% of its inhabitants have enough food to eat. Fertilizer has the largest single effect on food production, therefore, fertilizer is almost as basic food itself. Nitrogenous fertilizers are the most important plant food element, the other elements being potash and phosphate; therefore, by increasing the nitrogenous fertilizer production Trinidad and Tobago would be making a significant contribution to the well-being of the world. |
