| Abstract: | It was only two weeks ago that I had the pleasure of declaring open the Agricultural and Industrial County Fair organised by the Chaguanas Jaycees. Hardly has that exhibition, with its emphasis on the mix of industry and agriculture in our economy, come to and end, than we are to behold another come to life this evening. this KIWANIS FAIR with its emphasis on careers in industry, opening here in the Borough of Arima, was preceded, a few weeks earlier, in Port of Spain, by a symposium and an impressive exhibition focussing attention on the petroleum and petroleum related activities in the economy. |
