| Abstract: | I am particularly pleased to have been given this opportunity to address you this evening and to join with you in celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Queen’s Park Cricket Club. In this country, the name of Queen’s Park Cricket Club has become almost synonymous with sport in general and cricket in particular. There are some obvious reasons for this. Firstly, the Club is in possession of physical facilities, the quality and extent of which are unmatched in Trinidad and Tobago and indeed in the region as a whole. The Queen’s Park Oval is one of the most picturesque grounds in the world. |
